There are many options available to suit all, whether you are looking to improve your fitness or managing a specific condition or injury. Booking a Exercise Assessment helps us to determine what you want to achieve along with determining the best way to help you with your goals. After the assessment we book a follow up appointment to guide you through an individually designed exercise programme. 

 


 

What is an Exercise Assessment?

An exercise assessment is an opportunity to determine your needs, goals and expectations so we can tailor a specific exercise routine to assist you in achieving you optimum health goals. It also helps us gather relevant information on your health history and current mobility, fitness and strength levels. Assessment times may vary, but typically last between 30 and 60 minutes.

What should I wear to the assessment?

Please wear comfortable clothing and closed shoes. Please bring any documents provided to you by your doctor or specialist and recent copies of any Radiology scan reports that are specific to your injury.

  


 

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

Through Insurance, Medicare or Department of Veterans Affairs programmes a referral may be required for eligible rebates and services.

 

For all other service options and centre access, no referral is required.

  


 What are Exercise Physiologists?.

Exercise Physiologists are degree qualified in the prescription of exercise to assist with the management of a variety of ailments including but not limited to; musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, metabolic and neuromuscular conditions.

 


 

Can I use my Private Health Fund card for potential rebates?

Yes, rebates are available with certain cover and most private health insurance providers. Rebate amounts depend on your insurance provider and the cover you are on. Please contact your Private Health Insurance to see if you have cover and how much you may be eligible for. Rebates are not available for all membership options.
