Exercise Physiology Services for Type 2 Diabetes

Regular exercise is an essential part of managing type 2 diabetes. It can help to improve blood sugar control, reduce the risk of complications, and enhance overall well-being. At REPS Movement, we offer specialised exercise physiology services tailored to the needs of individuals with type 2 diabetes.

Medicare Benefits for Type 2 Diabetes Exercise Programs

If you have type 2 diabetes, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates for exercise physiology services under the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan. To access these rebates, you'll need a referral from your GP or other healthcare provider. The referral should specify that you require exercise physiology services for type 2 diabetes management.

To simplify the referral process, we've provided a downloadable referral template for both participants and GPs. Participants can download and take this template to their GP to discuss eligibility for Medicare rebates under the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan.
